In 1996, 17-year-old David Crawford was murdered by 16-year-old Federico Cruz, in Michigan, in a brutal crime that shocked the community; in 2016, 15-year-old Mathew Borges lured 16-year-old Lee Manuel Viloria-Paulino from his home in Lawrence, Massachusetts, so friends could rob it. What happened next was unthinkable.
